Online Debtor Education Course
You have selected the second required bankruptcy course, which is the Debtor Education
offered by Consumer Education Services, Inc. (CESI).* Before you begin, here is
some information you need to know:
- Prior to a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 bankruptcy case being
discharged, completion of this course is required
- This online course can be taken by an individual or married
couple who have already completed their
Pre-Bankruptcy Credit Counseling and have filed for bankruptcy
Current bankruptcy law requires you to complete a Debtor Education Course after
filing for bankruptcy but before discharge. This timed 2-hour course provides budgeting
and financial planning resources to help you after bankruptcy. For this financial
management course, you will need your bankruptcy case number, your judicial filing

If you have NOT filed for bankruptcy, you will need to complete the Pre-Bankruptcy Credit Counseling first.
